Your host Sherrie Darch-Williams welcomes you to The Kings Arms, a traditional country pub, located in the market town of Church Stretton, in the heart of the Shropshire Hills.
The Kings Arms dates back to 1593 and is one of the oldest pubs in the area. The pub’s history can be found here.
The pub features a central bar, log burner and leather bench seating with a restaurant which caters to all tastes and provides an outstanding selection of home-cooked food. The converted upstairs hayloft can accommodate up to 40 people and can be hired for functions, parties and other social occasions.
The pub’s recent restoration has respected its charm and has revealed the original beams and more original character of the pub, whilst adding some carefully sourced reclaimed materials; oak, mahogany and the best glass and leather available.
The Kings Arms serves Joule’s Pale Ale, Slumbering Monk, Pure Blonde and our English Craft Lager Green Monkey, alongside our rotating seasonal ale and cold craft beer. All brewed in Market Drayton with pure Shropshire mineral water.
The Kings Arms is a dog friendly pub and well-behaved dogs are welcome!
